At first, when I got to reading I thought that the bizarre aspect of it all wouldn’t make much sense in the end and it was just there for the characters to meet. I loved how unique the author was in taking this story out there and surprising the reader with something that was unexpected. Of course I’ll have to mention that my favorite was Perry right off the batch and his dynamic with Cass was amazing from the very first moment. The main character and protagonist, Cass, was very likable and her love interests were very interesting too. But, the author did a great job in portraying it and I assure you that you’ll find yourself rooting for one of the love interests once you get through some scenes. Nevertheless, I do want to warn everyone going in that the romance revolves around a love triangle, which I’m not a fan of. And of course, I’m trying my best to keep this review spoiler-free because the revelation is worth finding by the reader, but at some point in the book it becomes clear and you’ll find yourself thinking “what if?” Imagine my surprise when my suspicions became true and the book delivered a totally different part to the story. After having read the synopsis I was obviously expecting a normal-enough rom-com with its meet-cute and everything that accompanies it. I truly didn’t see this title coming, Dream On by Angie Hockman really managed to play me in the most genius way possible.
